Our Story
The building dates back to 1886 and is a Victorian-listed and protected structures. It has traded as a hostel for over 20 years. The interior is charming and inviting with bright sunlit rooms. The original stairs wind up internally like those of a lighthouse. There is a spectacular display of cut stone in the entrance hallway.
A 3-minute walk from Sligo's central train and bus stations: Turn left exiting the station and left again at the traffic lights onto the N4 main road. After walking 100m, we are the first house on the left.

Reviews

Warmest people I've ever stayed with. Paddy and his son Aaron are really wonderful hosts and go to every length to make sure
that their guests are taken care of. I had a lovely time and they really looked after me despite my other accomodation falling through. You couldn't find nicer people. Salt of the earth and more. Had a really lovely stay and they give great information on what to do locally.

I've stayed here on a couple of occasions when in town for Rovers v Sligo. Place is ideally located, beside the bus and railway station and just off the main road into Sligo, minutes from the town centre. The hostel itself is great value for money, very clean and great facilities. The owner is very welcoming and shows you around the hostel when you check in, a nice gesture. Hot showers and breakfast are always a nice touch in the morning too! I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay on a budget in comfortable surroundings in the centre of Sligo town.

Stayed here with some friends as part of a Wild Atlantic Way stopover, and it was ideal. The rooms were warm, comfortable and clean, there was a good selection of breakfast cereals for the morning, and the owner is a gentleman. We asked could we play a few tunes and have a few drinks while we were there and it was no problem. Would stay here again. The bathrooms are also well kept and spacious, with nice hot showers.

Hadn't stayed in a hostel for years. This one is a nice old place; clean, tidy and warm. Paddy who is looking after the place for the owners stayed up late to meet us 11.20pm and see us to our room. I did phone ahead to let him know so it is probably is not something he does eyerynight. Lovely man, really welcoming and helpful. Would stay again.

I spent my first night on my trip in Ireland with a friend of mine in this hostel. The owner was really nice and friendly and gave us a lot of advice on what to see/how to get there. The dormitory is perfect. Only 5 beds and most of them are single, there is only one bunk. Prices are more than ok for what we got.
